The show "To Catch a Predator" usually claims that the predators they catch are convicted in the footnotes at the end of the show. None of these predators actually engaged in any acts -- rather, it is always the intent they are being charged/convicted for. It's possible that these laws are different in the Netherlands, but even then, predators located in the US may not be protected. |
