I think this is a mature, well engineered approach to collisions - one that engineers can learn from. Rather than throwing a hissy fit when it encounters an exception, a mature system should try to gracefully recover... Because we're never going to have total control over the inputs / environment. Especially when we're just a small bug in a big world. |
