There used to be a chilling device as a party store near my house. There was a tub of super-chilled green or blue liquid that was in a whirlpool of sorts, and you could dunk your just-purchased drink in there for 1 minute and it would be cold when you took it out. But doesn't beer benefit from always staying cold? |

...but if you have a bottle conditioned ale, sometimes you can tell the difference because the 'warm' one can reactivate the yeasts and change the flavor slightly.
