That's the whole point of my comment. It's anecdotical evidence and you'll find as many people having the opposite experience (ie. me). If you look at the actual failure rate, it's well known that the failure rates of SSDs are well below those of HDDs: http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2319966 (With the notable exception of the aforementioned brand.) |
