Though they had the proportion wrong when describing the perfect rectangle. Instead of a/b = b/(a+b) they had a/b = (a+b)/b, which is obviously incorrect. Also, all their graphs and tables were from the Dover publication Tables of Functions With Formulas and Curves by Eugene Jahnke and Fritz Emde. I enjoyed reading this in high school and college. |
