1000+ downloads in 1.5 months, good?

My Android app has crossed 1000 downloads today with average rating of 4.7, is it a good sign? or no?

I was able to get some good reviews from some of the top blogs. But many blogs have not considered my app worthy enough. Please suggest how can I draw their attention?
