Not true. The most obvious example of a man embarking on a similar project - which people did care about - was Jonathan Coulton, who rose to fame at least partially thanks to his "thing a week" project and the output from that. Jayenkai's "Game A Week" project (male dev) has also attracted quite a bit of press. |
