That's a misleading graph, you switched it to relative values, which is meaningless.

Here is the same graph with absolute values, which shows that Scala is completely invisible compared to the competition:

Interesting - it looks like Python is the dog to beat--which actually surprises me - especially that it beats PHP and php is on a downward trend. AS much buzz as Ruby on Rails gets, I'd think it would be going up and up. Personally I like them all -- I use them all -well not so much Django(yet) but will in the near future. I like to rotate frameworks when building stuff, it gives me more experience and it doesn't hurt to be well rounded. Currently though I'm using Laravel and it's the ONLY thing keeping me in the php world.
