There are three main problems in the "internet of things" field: 1. The lack of consumer grade sensors that can detect human presence and behavior patterns. 2. The lack of robust models and open source software describing patterns of human interaction with environment. 3. Insufficient and incomplete solution to power supply and interconnection problem. I see any advance in these fields an order of magnitude more important than any new board running [modern language interpreter]. |

I dont think the point is really the "internet of stuffs". Just to fool around or to do installations or prototypes.
I dont like the NodeJS logo ripoff though.
