The problem is that we're creeping up the capability ladder, and it will only be a few decades until the robots can do the math, science, design, engineering, and assembly of new robots, which can in turn produce any other objects. What's there for humans to do? The real problem is that robotics makes humans unnecessary for economies to function, and we'll need to change our social model to account for that. Or just let a huge swathe of the people starve. |
