I had the PRK surgery (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Photorefractive_keratectomy).
The first two weeks were the worst of my life. The recovering was painful and I could barely see... And during that time the irritation and the feeling of having sand in my eyes... Well, after this tough period all the irritation gone, my vision was improving everyday and now, 3 years later I think that it was the best decision ever. Specially if you like to ride motorcycles - and use helmets - it makes a lot more practical. |

In dry weathers I fell a little bit of dryness in the eyes _ I manage to hack myself by forcing some tears. Sounds strange but it works.
