>The Internet is living, breathing, functioning proof that, at least to 99.9999% of human beings, utility > privacy. Imagine, for a moment, that evidence comes forward that Snowden wasn't the first. Imagine that someone in Snowden's position did exactly the same thing, only for financial gain, say, selling private company secrets to a competitor. That would change the situation, would it not? |
