We've discussed the long term, and we all agree: it's not something that will stay like this forever. In the long term I don't think it would be fair to maintain a perfectly flat pay structure; we won't always hire people with the same set of skills or experience or responsibilities. I don't expect to keep this system forever, but it's a good fit for us at this particular moment in time. I expect it will change as we change. |
