Anecdotal evidence, and looking at outliers like Standford grads (not even 15yr vets mind you) should be tossed aside. Neither represent the overall technology picture. Wages have stagnated, so "Boo, got to take a pay cut" won't happen, but you may not get a raise for 1-2-3 years which in effect is a pay cut. |
