Productivity by any volume measure seems meaningless in the software context. That's like measuring writing productivity by word count. Nobody really likes high-volume communication, unless the goal is to write a lot of trash. Even if you deliver a system with a lot of features and no known bugs, if they aren't the right features, it's not valuable software. |
