Semi-related question: is the word gross being redefined? I only remember it being used for something physically revolting. Lately, I've seen it used to mean "unseemingly, icky in the non-physical sense, a morally bad act". Anyone else seen this, or know what segments are driving the redefinition? Urban dictionary stuck to old sense, but this is about the fifth time I've seen it used this way. |
