I personally thought this was a very good article. It definitely gave me a lot to think about with regard to how much I help my family members fix their computer problems instead of "teaching them to fish" so to speak. First thing that came to mind for this: > When they hit eleven, give them a plaintext file with ten-thousand WPA2 keys and tell them that the real one is in there somewhere. See how quickly they discover Python or Bash then. Was "How will they learn Python without Google"? Only to look to my right and see my Python book. facepalm Agh, the dependence. Well done! |
