Mercy Hospital charged $16, 244 for a breast biopsy; the procedure will cost $3,500 at Surgery Center of Oklahoma. WTF?!? I don't know what we charge for a routine biopsy, but for an MRI guided one with vacuum assistance - vasty more complicated, expensive and time consuming - we charge about $2000USD.
Come and have a holiday in New Zealand at the same time and it may still be cheaper. |
