Do you really think getting 100K signatures is going to make a difference?

Better off geting 100k people to donate $10 and use that $1m to lobby congress.
Yuuuuup. Getting a specific person elected or a specific person threatened in their district is actually what would start working. Political change comes through money, and the reason is because money can effectively buy votes.
This is what we have come too: Protection money to Congress reps and Senators. Pay us and we will serve you.
I don't think so, but it reached the threshold requiring a response from the White House.
The Aaron Swartz petition has never even gotten a non-response response.
To be fair, that's quite typical of the petitions.
Is 100K really the threshold for the government to respond? It seems like such a minor number.
Maybe a response similar to SOPA, should be started.
