It's like capitalism gone mad, isn't it? I believe the UK is heading in this direction as well. Thatcher started it, but it's really gone up a few notches since then. It's a sorry state of affairs when the schools, the fire service, the police, the prisons, the hospitals, the soldiers of war, and even the spies are all controlled by for-profit corporations. |
