IBM GS would happily sell you Solaris services, but there's no way they'd port Solaris to POWER.

Solaris 2.5 and 2.5.1 were ported to IBM PReP systems in the 90s. You could order certain models of PPC workstation with AIX, Solaris, Windows NT, or OS/2 preloaded.

Haha, I remember when you could get Windows NT on SPARC too... Not the same thing as being a real product tho'.
