This reminds me of the comment PG made about people with the most negative rebuttal to the argument getting up-voted. The argument wasn't entirely about how you perceive math and more about being socially accepted, even proud, of being able to say "I can't do math". It's a very North American perspective and it would be similar to saying "I can't read" in most of Europe. |
