In academic philosophy, a "zombie" is a person without a "soul" - it is physically indistinguishable from any other person, but lacks conscious experience. It simulates the outward appearance of conscious experience by virtue of having a fully functional brain. Sadly, this question is not related to the possibility that chemical spills can cause the dead to rise and eat brains. |
