I got to see him speak in Melbourne last year, he has a very enjoyable speaking manner. If I recall correctly, it covered looking at things from a teleological perspective (as a tool for thinking, not as proposed fact) and then free will and morality in relation to that. I'm not certain, but I think there was the suggestion that believing we have free will is useful because it makes us act as though we have free will! |
