The blurry part isn't so nice, but I think that have snapshots of code might actually be better in a lot of ways if it forces people to type code out themselves without copy/paste (no better way to learn than to get it into your muscle memory after all).
There's no benefit to wasting time typing. Being a developer should assume a basic competency of typing, but anything that saves typing is a good thing.
