Some more insight on the project: Instagram is huge in terms of fashion and also has great fashion content, but it lacks eCommerce functionality, which I think would be something brands could benefit from in terms of actively driving sales/traffic to their stores - that's why I built fashion.gram.

How we do it: We monitor Instagram's popular feed for interesting content and add it to our own stream - plus some meta data, thus making it shoppable.
