Well, the reason why it applies to entreprenuers but not employees is because a successful entreprenuer can presumably quit after their first success. I think the term is appropriate and descriptive if it's used in the context of someone who's successful and doesn't have to go back and do it again but does anyway. That tells you something. I agree though, its use today is something akin to the word 'synergy' or 'web 2.0' - i.e. repeated misuse in inappropriate contexts makes the term dilute to the point where it basically means both everything and nothing at the same time. |
