If you need to hire 2 people, and you have 200 resumes, the first thing you do is throw out all the ones with misspellings and without a degree. Other than that, the degree isn't that important, compared to the skill-set and work history. The pure ability can be gained just from Google, Wikipedia, and practice at home. So can all the theoretical knowledge. |
