Can we keep these programmers separated through the use of forks and patches? For instance, I'll add feature X for $ and provide a patch or new RPM as the result. The intrinsic developers can avoid demotivation (!) through "lack of awareness" of the money or patch. The patch can later be incorporated if the intrinsic developers want it. |
