The box-art says, "Winner of 26 PC Game awards". Is that for the series or for Sim City V? I have a hard time believing its the latter.

Probably for the entire series but it's still false marketing.

It's for the entire series. The wiki pages states it has only won "8 awards out of 24 nominations".
