Even if this is a troll post, it is probably true that the distributed social networks are having a really really hard time gaining ground. The biggest problem I see is the network effect of current networks (FB, G+) and the choice of the many decentralized networks that currently exist. Which one to pick? Which one is also convenient to use for my non-geek friends? |
