So it is possible to say something similar while maintaining journalistic integrity. Surprise surprise. This is journalism. Broder's sloppy crap was not. Note the real issue, not that Mr. NYT's exaggerations and lies were 'close enough.' This was never about defending Mr. Hyperbole, AKA Mr. Musk. It was about a NYT reporter feeling free to take license because it encapsulated the spirit of the truth or some other lukewarm embrace of poor reporting. |
