The speed limit on the NJ Turnpike is largely 65, but traveling at 70 - 80mph on the turnpike is normal, often the speed to just keep up with traffic, depending on the day/where you are on the road. Wanting to go 80 on the NJT isn't "taking it to the track", it's "driving from A to B". |
