Perhaps there's a niche for software that alerts the children and not the parents when they're triggering certain flags. "Do you really know this person AFK?" "How would you feel if this photograph was sent to all of your teachers, and everyone you know in school?" And before people mention MS Office's Clippy - yes, it was was awful, but part of the reason for that was kludged implementation. (http://robotzeitgeist.com/tag/bayesian-inference-engine) This new implementation could have a "spy on your children" feature, but allow that to be turned off for the parents that find such things troublesome, allowing the warnings to go direct to the children. |
