No it's not. See the passage here. (http://v.cx/2010/04/feynman-brazil-education) He's complaining about the fact that they don't really know what they've learned, they've just learned to 'say the right things', specifically because of the way they have been taught. Which is precisely the point I'm making. e.g. "After a lot of investigation, I finally figured out that the students had memorized everything, but they didn’t know what anything meant." |
