Impossible? I don't think so. Since Path (and every other iOS app) uses a system API for things like photos it's trivial for the OS to strip the exif location data from photos if the user has turned off location data for an application, then provide that geo-less photo to the application. Clearly Apple, like Path, never saw this issue (until now). |
