You're still tethered to the computer by the video and power cables, so unless you're being interrupted to do other things at your desk a lot I don't think this would help. Most of the time if I'm interrupted in a game it's for something that I can either do on my phone, or so something I have to do away from my computer. That said, it would be an interesting experience to try wearing a VR headset for a long period with a couple of cameras giving a very wide view. I'm curious how well we'd be able to adapt to having 360° vision. |
