Because there are not enough of these large battery banks, which require planning permission to build. Whereas you can buy a battery that will save you money over a 5 year period and get on with it. (I'm hoping that enough of the larger ones get built that having one yourself doesn't make economic sense, but I suspect we're ten years out from that) |
