I think it's amazing that this project exists, and I have much respect for the authors. Well done. Still, I don't want to get stuck lying to my OS to make its features work on my hardware, and I don't want to have to trust that no future OS updates will remove that workaround. It feels like depending on a jailbroken phone. It's your phone: of course you have the right to do whatever you want with the hardware. I wouldn't want to count on the jailbreak continuing to work, though. |
