It's your quote. I have no problem with people speaking politics on HN. There's already an extremely overt political bias in the capital class that funds our industry, so we should have very open discussions about it. It's one of the most relevant topics in tech.
lol if you work in "our" industry you are by definition part of the elite in this country and the world, and yes, you have an overt political bias, you just don't seem to realize that it's a bias.
