We have a car with lane assist. But as far as I have seen (but can be mistaken), collision avoidance has a higher priority, so it would prefer avoiding a cyclist ov er staying in lane (though if the road is small, it might just start breaking). |

Apparently not all cars have collision avoidance towards the sides. The combination of HW and SW features now varies.
