I don't know about this sport, but in other large sports it can costs millions per year to be a sponsor.

About half of those kit numbers are less per year than a single 30 second ad during the superbowl.
That's a little dishonest. The prices are in Pounds, and there a significant high outliers.

Superbowl ads currently average around $8m USD (£5.93m).

You're right, only about half of them are less than £5.93m with one of them being almost the same.
