Did you consider the alternative calculation of how many plants you need to grow to feed yourself? A few thousand potatoes growing simultaneously might do it.

That would overestimate the number you need to remove excess exhaled CO2, since you could throw out the parts you can't eat rather than letting them decay and release CO2 indoors.
