Also for knowing how to structure a project and budget, how to assess what the specific funders are looking for from the questions they ask even if they haven't bid on that call before, how to frame core technical roadmap stuff in ways which actually fit funding call objectives, how to do credible looking forecasts and technical descriptions that are actually intelligible to laymen, and a somewhat objective perspective on whether your project idea is actually likely to be fundable (especially if their contract is weighted towards contingency).

tbh the polished language is the least important bit: AI can do that to an extent, and actually well for some less-discerning funders.
