Welcome to fascism, America.

67% of Americans probably don't even know what this is.

Hint: It's when one person "dictates" who you can trade with and influences the price you pay for products. And attempts to extend this solitary influence to elections and control of the military.

Tacking this on here for even more confirmation https://public.websites.umich.edu/~rsc/Editorials/fascism.ht...
Feels like America has been on this road for quite a while. It’s frustrating to think how upset I was at some actions of previous administrations and believing we needed to do less fascist things, not more.

Then Trump shows up and just absolutely accelerates this all at an unbelievable pace. Sometimes I think we give him too much credit. He’s an absolute danger to our country but he sure as shit didn’t come into office with that checklist completely blank.

I don’t know. All we are ever given is shitty candidates. But maybe that’s just me. Maybe most Americans like the options they’re given. Maybe most are fascist. They voted for Trump twice. And I think that’s most scary. That we’re here because this is what people wanted.

You can restate this after the November elections take place. Until then, America is still very, very far from real fascism.
Very, very far???

Your comment itself implies it is only 1 election away.

Very, very far. Corruption, failures in leadership, war, gerrymandering, and yet the press covers all of it and elections are being held on-time. Same as always, just at a higher concentration.
