Heh. Like 10 years ago I was designing retail stores for a company expanding their franchises. Each location had to be a bit different, depending on the quirks of the building they were leasing. I was doing the 3D layouts of the interiors, so I built a webvr app to let them jump through the renderings (not a walk-around; it mapped out a bunch of different fully raytraced stereoscopic skyboxes from different positions that you could navigate between). We used to send out an oculus rift to the new franchisees while they were in the build phase so they could check out the renderings and request changes as we were finalizing it.
