The more I mess around with ESP32s and home automation, the more I realize that was looks like jank to a software engineer is just the way these things work. Look at the MAC addresses of smart devices connected to your home network and 90% of them are just going to be ESP32 chips hooked up in this way to some control mechanism, but in a nicer enclosure. |
