He was asked to leave, and refused and said drag him out. That's what he was arrested for. That's the disorderly conduct There really isn't any room for any other interpretation here. That's why clickbait dishonest journalism like that sucks, we're now discussing pedantry like this rather than, "should he have been asked to leave in the first place? is this being enforced because of his stance on AI, or is there something going on here?"

It however is entirely normal in these types of meetings to require the audience to refrain from making any kind of comments or noise during a speaker's turn. And people regularly get kicked out of these, I've been to many - and you absolutely can get arrested if you refuse to leave.

Honestly if you can’t protest at a public meeting then you dont have free speech.

The fact that someone can actually ask you to leave a public meeting like this implies some sort of weird authority that genuinely should not exist.
