Didn’t you see how young people don’t bat an eye when modern day series paint black people in powerful/leadership roles in the ‘60s-‘80s, or even just treated somewhat equally regardless of color? For Hollywood it was always easy to rewrite history to wash away sins, just wrap it in a saran wrap of fiction.
