3B1B are primarily math entertainment videos, they don't actually teach you anything.

They are good if you already know a subject well, and want a new perspective on the material though.

You are partly correct.

They have training video series as well. Even one on Linear Algebra. Starts from scratch and works up to advanced.

The issue with sources like these is that they are inherently passive. They don't include exercise sets. While they can be good supplementary material, learning happens by doing, not by passively watching.

I do say this as a fan of both, though.
